Environmental Concerns

A large part of Suttles Truck Leasing's business deals with hauling wastes, hazardous materials, or hazardous wastes.  Great effort is expended to insure the proper handling of these materials so that neither our employees nor the public is harmed.  We also go to great lengths to avoid contamination of products when hauling or delivering them.  When a spill does occur--no matter how small--OHM Remediation, Inc., has been retained to act as our agent to clean up the spill anywhere in the country.

Suitable protective gear is furnished to our drivers so they can avoid injury while handling chemicals.

Six terminals have tank washing facilities that process wash water so that the water can be returned to municipal sewers.  Haz-Material left in tank trucks or spilled material that we cannot treat is brought to a solid waste landfill, pumped into deep wells, or delivered to firms which will use the material as fuel.
